Are you listening?

Tonight I realize something...... I am truly blessed with an incredible marriage. Not that this is the 1st time for me to realize this but here goes the thought. I have an incredible wife that loves the Lord, I also love the Lord. We spend a lot of time talking and LISTENING to each other. Why is listening so important? Because so often we see failed marriages where people say they just quit talking to each other... It occurs to me tonight, more than likely they quit listening to each other. They not only quit listening to each other but more importantly they quit listening to the Lord. You see it is so easy to talk to someone or talk to the Lord during prayer but it is much more difficult to LISTEN. My wife is an incredible listener and because she is, unknowingly she has taught me to do the same. Not only has she taught me to LISTEN to her and others but more importantly to God. My final thought is this: When we learn to LISTEN to one another and more importantly God, we learn to love others the way He loves us. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.John 13:34 I give God all the glory for an incredible marriage, an incredible wife and an incredible life. Are you LISTENING?

What a Blessing!

Hey everyone! This is the most precious baby in the world...she is my niece, Reagan Meek!Last night we were able to just hang out with my sister-in-law and her husband and their new baby girl. She is amazing, to see her, to hold her and just think about life. We often get so wrapped up in the daily challenges of life that we seem to forget about all the other amazing things God is doing around us. I am reminded tonight to stop and take a look around, God is everywhere. Little RaeRae is such a blessing. She is blessed to have the most perfect parents (Beth and Chad Meek). Stop and take a look around, is God trying to show you a blessing?

Time with the Father

This morning brings its own challenges, I cant help but be thankful for having a Father that has everything under control. I have the lyrics of a song stuck in my head and wanted to share them with you.

What will tomorrow bring?

What a day! I got to spend the whole evening with my incredible wife! This picture was us leaving to begin our honeymoon over 4 1/2 years ago! WOW! God is amazing, He has blessed us incredibly! Although times are sometimes difficult, we miss our friends who live out of state and we are never really sure what tomorrow will bring.... A couple of things that I can always count on... Jesus will never leave us and I get another day with the most incredible woman in the world! I thank God for whatever tomorrow will bring!!

My wife is Awesome!!!!

My wife is Awesome! I very rarely get the opportunity to brag on my wife, So here it Goes!!!! I have been so blessed to have such an incredible wife that loves the Lord. She has been my rock, my best friend and most importantly my wife that loves me unconditionally. She is one of the most important things in my life! She raises me up when I am down, Encourages when I feel like a loser and shows me more and more everyday what it truly means to love someone. She is always so patient with me and others. She loves to do things for other people. She helps keep me focused! Lets not forget that other thing......She is SMOKIN HOT!!!! I wish I could make all her dreams come true, she deserves it! She is Awesome!
